Turco has a chance to even the series tonight – yes I know it is a team game but if Turco was not heads-above everyone else on the ice, Dallas would be done. The man is on a mission and hopefully has two more stellar games left in him.

From ESPN – “Stars stopper Marty Turco must again make the big stops. In my mind, Turco has raised his game tenfold. In the first three games, he allowed a few softies. That hasn’t been the case in the past two games, where, with no room for error, Turco has turned back 71 of 73 shots. He has kept his composure and focus after a slow West finals start. Right now, Turco’s puck-stopping and puck-handling abilities have to scare the Wings, at least a little bit.” EJ Hardiek

for us to be successful he has to be very good and that’s what you saw from him (today). There was so much battle in him. One of our team’s themes this year has been finding a will to win and I think Marty exemplified that. He wasn’t going to be denied in this game and he made enough saves for us to get the win.” Stars Head Coach Dave Tippet
