October 30, 2008

After a brutal start to the season, Peter Budaj was named one of the Three Stars of the Week after going 3-0 with a 94.1 saver percentage. Compare these numbers to his first three games: 0-3 with 4.37 goals against average and, best of all, a 82.4% save percentage. Maybe, just maybe, the Avs have hope.

Save of the Year???

October 24, 2008

Carey Price makes a remarkable save during a preseason game against the Wings that could be better than any save made for the rest of the regular season and playoffs. This is all about the will to not be beat, something all goalies need to have regardless of their ability to duplicate a save like this one.

Truly a great save.
