Question Four

The current trend is for goalie pads to be predominately white. What is the thinking behind this?

There are two primary reasons goalies many goalies have begun to use a white-body pad. First, white pads make it harder for the shooters to distinquish compared to a darker colored pad. Second, the goalie is better able to track the rebound coming off the pad.
